What is the most competitive subscription ?
If you are a regular user , the Oyster Card is the best option. It is very easy to get one (you can find it in underground stations) and allows you to use all means of transport in the capital depending on the area you selected.
What is a zone ?
London is divided into 9 areas from the nearest of the center to the furthest one. Zones 6-9 concern the outskirts of the city but beyond zone 3 , you won’t be considered as a Londoner anymore. Be careful to check in which zone your home and your workplace are located. Indeed , the price of transport varies depending on the area you have to go through and this can influence the choice of your accommodation.
